This story has all the elements of a great fantasy story: elves and goblins, interesting fae, villainous family, a forbidden love interest. However, I felt like I needed to know more. Descriptions were lacking. The main character Ever is close with her “crew,” her colleagues from the Magical Enforcement Agency, but I couldn’t get a picture of any of them but Ever in my mind’s eye. Between her crew and the goblins they team up with, there are many secondary characters, but their personalities are only barely shown and very little is told of their looks. These Fae kingdoms are interesting, but need to be fleshed out a little more. There were so many things going on, so many issues stressing Ever out, that it became a little confusing. I felt like I was missing something.

The underlying story, however, is interesting enough that I will keep reading. The series has a lot of potential.

Great book, exciting, funny, and sweet. My only critique would be the amount of profanity that spews from Ever's mouth. Like an unnecessary amount. I'm all about spicing up a conversation but she comes off like a low priced truck stop hooker. Other than that, I'm buying the next book-)
So I liked this but it was nothing like I was expecting. This story isn't an 'epic' or 'swords and sorcery' type of fantasy romance in the traditional sense. Ever is really funny and fierce and her chemistry with Dare is definitely hot (don't change that), but the story lacks a little bit of the scope and depth plot-wise I was looking for. It's still good but it's just a simpler story. I really like the author's take on gargoyles too-interesting! I'll get the next book.
Paranormal is not my normal genre, but Graceley has converted me with her debut novel! I fell in love with this story from the beginining. She held my mind and heart captive. Goblins and Fae's are quite the creatures and I loved them. (Yes totally new for me.) I mean Goblins at war, talk about fascinating, and their ruler doesn't even know?!
Graceley did an excellent job with her descriptive writing and bring each and every character to life. I can't wait to dig into book #2 Crown of Betrayal in the Wicked Kingoms Series.
I give it a 4 because I'm exceedingly picky and 5s are only reserved for my favorites. This one is a great book to pass the time and have me get lost in the world of fantasy for sure, but it doesn't hook me as hard as Hardy Potter(let's be honest, every single book I have ever read and will ever read, I'm gonna compare to HP).
I'm definitely gonna spend the $5 buying the next 2 books. I enjoyed it and it was hot af! I want to know where she ends up next! And what happens to the characters in the story.

Ever is beyond annoying. She is nothing more than a large child. I take that back....she may be worse. All the unnecessary angst, sass and sarcasm makes for one unlikeable female lead. Could be a decent story if her over the top attitude was toned down about 50% or so.
I am so glad that I stumbled upon this author and her stories.
Mark of Truth more than lived up to my expectations with excitment, plot intrigue and
characters that are totally kickass. Dare has got to be the sexiest goblin around, plus he has
2 brothers. Ever who is the main heroine is so likeable and badass at the same time.
The chemistry between Ever and Dare is off the charts.
I always loved reading about Elves, Goblins and Fae and the author has made this realm believable.
If you like reading stories by Karen Marie Moning and Melissa Marr, Shona Husk then this series is for you.
Oh. My. God. This book sucked me in and didn't release me until it was over. From start to finish I had trouble stopping long enough to do things, like chores (bah, who needs em!), and eat.. It was quite a delicious read, full of action, passion, and mystery. The hot and consuming passions of the book are mind-boggling good. The steam! Oh!! And the characters! Sexy, snarky, broody, skilled, and gorgeous!

I know what it's like to be an outsider and I totally connected with this book on a spiritual level. I can hardly wait for the next book. I've bought it, but I have to wait. *Sob*
